Sampling Compositions
Inspired by the abstract pictures of Wassily Kandinsky, I created the pictures "Sampling compositions". Sampling is known from music. A new piece of music is created from different small pieces of music. In my case it is like this: I design abstract elements, collect them and put them together to create new images. As I keep creating new elements, the collection keeps growing. Infinite variations of a single image are possible. Variations - identified by Roman numerals in the title - are e.g. B. designed by blending different semi-transparent images.
