Sampling Compositions
Inspiriert von den abstrakten Bildern von Wassily Kandinsky habe ich die Bilder "Sampling compositions" gestaltet. Das Sampling ist aus der Musik bekannt. Aus unterschiedlichen kleinen Musikteilen wird ein neues Musikstück geschaffen. In meinem Fall ist das so: Ich entwerfe abstrakte Elemente, sammle sie und setze sie zu immer neuen Bildern zusammen. Da ich immer neue Elemente gestalte, wächst die Sammlung ständig weiter. Unendliche Varianten eines einzigen Bildes sind so möglich. Variationen – gekennzeichnet durch römische Ziffern im Titel – werden z. B. gestaltet durch Überblendungen unterschiedlicher halbtransparenter Bilder.
